One story, in particular, captivated me - my father's account of a merchant, his wife, and their blissful existence. However, their maid Julianne, consumed by envy, yearned to replace the adored wife. In her pursuit of unholy powers hidden deep within the manor, she cast a curse upon the merchant's wife, unleashing deadly forces. Determined, the merchant embarked on a lifelong quest to free his beloved from her cursed world.
Years have gone by and now my father has passed, but not before leaving me a message: "The fairy tale you cherished was our family's true story. I attempted to free your mother's spirit but failed. I implore you to accomplish what I couldn't. The solution awaits in our ancestral home."
As a son, it falls upon me to script the happy ending for our family's tale.
